It is #CatholicSchoolsWeek!
I would love to celebrate... but we don't have a Catholic school anywhere near us. The closest one is 3+ hours away.
4 Parishes + 2 Mission Churches = No Schools.
It isn't a numbers thing, it isn't a financial thing, it isn't a logistics thing... unfortunately it is a desire thing, or lack there of, on behalf of certain people.
Hopefully the Archbishop, who is a great supporter of education, or an apostolate will step in, see the need, and fill it.
Please pray for Catholic Schools, and especially keep the Kenai Peninsula in your prayers. There is a need and a desire, we just need the powers that be to allow it to happen.
