Amazon Supporting "Gay Marriage"

First Starbucks came out and publicly supported"Gay Marriage" and now Amazon.com has as well. In a statement that joins, Starbucks, Nike, and others, Amazon released:
"Amazon is joining other Pacific Northwest companies, including Microsoft, Starbucks and Nike, in support of Washington state's marriage equality bills," Amazon said in a statement released by spokeswoman Mary Osako. "The spirit of these bills is consistent with our longstanding employment practices."
I have taken down my Amazon links. I know, the idea that we can investigate each company to see how and what they support is impossible, but this is a pretty public statement. Also, I think it is important to note that we could be better spending our money at a place like Aquinas and More. I always said that if I was going to "support" any companies in return for discounts or "perks" they would have to be a benefit to the readers as well as myself. Amazon, with their public statement, is no longer acceptable in my mind to be a business I wish to support via my blog.

So, let's make this easy...

If you want coffee, buy Mystic Monk.

If you want books and Catholic goods, buy Aquinas and More.

I deleted a comment. It was impossible to know who the person was calling a rather rude name. Had they been a little more specific, I might have left it.
