Alaska's Catholic Senators & The HHS Mandate

What is the "right" direction Senator?
Alaska has (2) Two Catholic Senators.

Lisa Murkowski and Mark Begich. One is a Republican, the other a Democrat.

[UPDATE]: Please see my recent post on this issue. Neither has come out and denounced the mandate as being against religious freedom. In fact, all that I could really find on the issue was a quote by Senator Lisa Murkowski, which is a rather tepid statement:
“So it's something that I think that the administration has gone the wrong direction on,” Murkowski said. “How we respond to it here in the Congress I think remains to be seen.”
Wrong direction? What direction is that? What is the right direction? Really? She is a lawyer, a senator, and a Catholic, and her only thoughts on the subject are that this is the "wrong direction"??? Then again, she is the same senator that said we shouldn't spend time on trying to vote for a repeal of Obama-Care.

It pains me that she is representative of Catholics in the Senate. Really... she is part of the problem which helped create the atmosphere for the HHS Mandate to be possible. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect perfection, but she intentionally ignores Catholic teaching in her public statements and her senate voting habits. As for Senator Begich... I expect nothing that even comes close to addressing this as a Catholic issue.

For both of them, being a Senator is more important than being Catholic ... I can say this with confidence because actions speak louder than words.
