Pope Announces New Cardinals: Dolan & O'Brien from the USA

The Pope announced the following, during the Angelus today at the Vatican:

"With great joy I announce a consistory on 18 February to create 22 cardinals..."

From the United States, the new Cardinal-designates, are:

+Timothy Cardinal Dolan

 Archdiocese of New York

+Edwin Cardinal O'Brien

Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem (Emeritus, Baltimore)
