The Exorcism of Salt

The Exorcism of Salt, from the Baptism Rite in the Usus Antiquior (Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite:

℣.  I exorcize you, creature of salt, in the name of the Almighty God the X Father, and in the charity of Jesus X Christ our Lord, and in the might of the Holy X Ghost. I exorcize you, by the living X God, by the true X God, by the holy X God, and by the God X Who created you for the protection of mankind, and commanded you to be consecrated by His servants for the people coming to faith. Wherefore, we pray You, O Lord our God, that this creature of salt be made a saving sacrament, in the name of the Trinity, for putting to flight the enemy; that You, O Lord, by sanctifying You sanctXify, and by blessing You X bless, that it become to all receiving it a perfect medicine, abiding in their inward parts. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who will come to judge the quick and the dead, and the world by fire.
